Although you wouldn’t always know it from some of the crazy stuff you can read on the internet, I think Landmark’s introductions to the landmark forum can provide a lot of value for people in their lives outside of just the opportunity to sign up for the course. Here’s a guy whose blog I just read who describes what I think is a fairly typical experience:
Landmark Education was initially introduced to me by Shanna six years ago. Until this Saturday I did actually sit in and participate through the invitation of a very good friend. She also happened to be our speaker. I’ve known her for quite a while and yet I didn’t know how passionate she was as a “lecturer” and surprisingly humorous. Though I was outnumbered by six females, everyone was responsive and the mood in the room was unexpectedly friendly and respectful. It was the moment when we shared opinions, past experiences and plans for the future. Learning from each of them how they cope with distress, frustrations and disappointments had impelled me to rethink about living and relating with others in a more positive way.
